Oakleaf receive FPDC National Quality Award

Oakleaf received the coveted Quality Gold Award for the "Best Dry lining Commercial Contract over £1m" at the FPDC awards in London, recognising the work carried out on our £20m contract at Terminal 2 Dublin Airport,

Ian Pollitt of the FPDC judging panel commented

"Without doubt the finest piece of drywall I have had the pleasure to judge in 20 years! I have never seen a contract
that 200 men have worked on that is such a high standard of work throughout. A 500 metre corridor and 19 aircraft stand, all pure precision…. So many excellent features, everything was special and could not fault a thing! Outstanding"

Mace Construction Operations Director Willie Shaw commended Oakleaf

"Oakleaf’s level of service and commitment to programme is rarely found in drylining contractors today. They have worked on a diversity of contracts which demonstrates the depth of their experience and expertise and are always willing to offer advice to clients and other construction professionals on a wide range of technical issues."

"They take pride in delivering a service with a high level of safety, professionalism and respect for the customer and are committed to the education of young talent, retaining highly skilled home grown staff."

"We congratulate Oakleaf on their award and wish them continued success as a result of their commitment to their core values of customer care, flexibility to the needs of their clients and a clear understanding of the need to deliver quality projects on time and within budget."

The FPDC Awards are run by the Federation of Plastering and Drywall Contractors which represents a construction sector worth more than £2 billion.

Oakleaf work at T2 is also being nominated by Gypsum for consideration at the bi-annual European Saint-Gobain Gyproc Trophy awards to be held in Spain in 2012.
